The team’s first venture to Philip Island in the newly updated Torana had mixed results. The car was excellent in the rain, driving away from the field until an unfortunate suspension failure at high speed ended the charge. Starting from the rear in adverse weather conditions in the final race for the weekend, the team used the opportunity as a test, trying some new suspension settings and engine tune.
